 * DYF Monthly Meeting - 5/14/08

    The Monthly Danvers Youth Football meeting will take place on Wednesday,
    5/14/08, 7:30 PM at the Polish Club.

 * Danvers Youth Football '08 Registration Now Available

   Registration for the 2008 season is now available. Register by June 15th to avoid
   a $25 Late Fee. This year we will be using a new on-line registration system to
   establish an account for each family (contact and family information), to register
   players and to register coaches and team parents. No paper registration forms
   will be accepted. To begin the process, please activate or paste the following
   address in your web browser:

       http://www.sportssignup.com/danversyouthfootball.start

   Instructions will be found on the registration home page including the mandatory
   information required to complete the registration process. Please read this
   information completely before starting the registration process.

   DYF will be holding two informational sessions this spring at the Danvers High
   School Cafeteria on Tuesday, May 27th and Tuesday, June 10th from 7:00 to
   9:00 PM. Please join us to learn more about our youth football program, purchase
   DYF Apparel and answer any questions you may have concerning the on-line
   registration process.

  ** Please Note: Effective for the 2008 season, the Cape Ann Youth Football
       League has restructured its divisions as follows:

           A Grade 8 (148 lbs. max weight for offensive eligible position)
           JVA Grades 7 & 8 (148 lbs. max weight for offensive eligible position)
           B Grade 7 (132 lbs. max weight for offensive eligible position)
           C Grade 6 (116 lbs. max weight for offensive eligible position)
           JVC Grades 5 & 6 (116 lbs. max weight for offensive eligible position)
           D Grades 3 & 4 (90 lbs. max weight for offensive eligible position)

      league structure.

  * Danvers Youth Football Fundraiser - Comedy Night, 5/31/08

    Production Marketing Services (the same group that produces the DYF 
    yearbook), will be hosting a Comedy Night for the benefit of Danvers Youth
    Football. Calls are currently being made to Danvers businesses and residents
    directly to sell tickets for this event.

    Please be advised that this is a legitimate fundraiser and that your support is
