Catherine Wolniewicz would like to reinstate a 4th grade Cheering squad.  She proposed that they have out door practices.  (4th grade squads were discontinued in the past because of the lack of practice space.)

Debbie LeBlanc voiced her concerns with Catherine’s proposal. She believed they should not practice outside.

Tom Ladd stated that he needed more detailed plans in order to commit to a 4th grade cheering program.

Duke St. Pierre asked about practice fields.  There are many problems with the fields: not enough fields, muddy fields and goose excrement.

Frank Pellino suggested getting lights at the Plains park field or temporary lights at the Band field.

Tom expressed town would not allow lights at Plains Park.

Tom Ladd suggested selecting a field committee to explore their options.

He asked Marc Palazola to head up the committee. The committee will be set up with new and old members and be selected at the Feb 9th meeting.

Barry Little will also select a Snack Bar Committee at the Feb. 9th meeting.
