A special budget meeting of Danvers Youth Football, Inc. was held on April 17, 2002 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Danvers, MA.

Tom Ladd, Tom Marden, Tom Opie, Stu Orloff,
Mike Skiotis, Sam
Valenti
The meeting was called to
order by Sam Valenti, President at 7:45 PM.

Tom Opie incorporated most
of the budget figures discussed at the previous meeting, in particular those for
equipment and cheering.

In addition, the group
discussed projections and assumptions for the remaining budget line items
(referees/EMT’s, snack bar, insurance, banquet, …).

We will base our revenue
assumptions on a total registration of 275 (players and
cheerleaders).

A lengthy discussion ensued
relative to setting the registration fee.
Tom Ladd suggested a late charge be assessed for any registrations
received after the second (and final) registration night, and made a motion to
set the fees at $75 (regular) and $90 (late). The motion was seconded by Tom
Marden. Sam Valenti amended to
motion to set the fees at $85 and $100 respectively. Ultimately, the amended motion PASSED by
a vote o 5-2.

Tom O. will compile all of
the budget figures and present them for final approval at the May monthly
meeting.
A
motion to adjourn was made by Tom Marden, seconded by Stu Orloff, and
unanimously PASSED at 9:08 PM.
