July 13, 2005 Board Meeting
The monthly board meeting of
Danvers Youth Football, Inc. was held on July 13, 2005 at the Knights of
Columbus,
Attendance: Tom Ladd, June Blanchette, Karen Metzler, Marc Palazola, John Koburski, Mike Mansfield, Barry Little, Rich Smith, Duke St.Pierre
The meeting was called to order 8:05 p.m.
I.
Secretary’s
Report
A motion was made by Tom Ladd to accept the minutes. It was accepted by Karen Metzler and seconded by Marc Palazola. The minutes unanimously passed.
II.
Treasurer’s
Report
Most of the income this month has been registration. The registration this year is lower than the past year.
A motion was made to accept the report. It was accepted by Karen Metzler and seconded by marc Palazola. The report unanimously passed.
III. Registration
Cheering: Tom Ladd would like the practice schedule for cheering.
The Uniform order is being made.
Cheering has set a date of October 22, 2005 to have a Jamboree.
IV. Coach Applications
Mike Mansfield is batching up all the applications to turn in for CORIs. All CORI forms will be kept on file. Any one who has not sent in an application needs to get it in soon.
V. Head Coach Nominations
A Team: Tom Ladd
JVA Team: Duke St.Pierre
B Team: Mike Mansfield
C Team: Tom Marden
The August meeting the JVB Team coach will be nominated.
VI. Field Permits
A copy of cover letter for CORIs and a copy of the Insurance policy are needed to get field permits.
VII. Equipment Distribution
Tom Marden will
running DYF Equipment Distribution which will take place at the DYF equipment
room at

Tuesday, August 2nd
6:00 PM 6th Grade
7:00 PM 5th Grade
8:00 PM 4th Grade
Sunday Aug. 14th 6:00 PM if someone missed their appropriate date.
Permission was given for early helmet distribution for children going to Bavaro Camp.
VIII. Registration for Football
Coaches need to call and encourage kids who participated last year to sign up by the deadline August 1st.
VIIII. Snack Bar
Coaches need to help break down the snack bar last game of the day.
They could use more volunteer help.
It was suggested that7th and 8th grade kids could help.
Adults are needed for set up and break down of the snack bar.
X. New Business

Mike Mansfield suggested that the
Tom Ladd motioned to adjourn the meeting at 8:45. It was accepted by Mike Mansfield and seconded by Marc Palazola
